Robin's Bad News

We have all been waiting the results of Robin's test after her surgery.
Sometimes you don't want to know what you need to know. Robin called Phyllis this morning and told her that the tumor was a stage 4 cancer. This is not good. It is also one of the worse types of cancers that you can have. Robin will have to undergo radiation and chemo therapy for the next few weeks. Tomorrow, she will go home for a few days before her treatments. Phyllis was at her Doctor's office when she called me. I met her there and then we went to her mother's house to tell her. I called David to see if he would go with us. He did and I am thankful. Sometimes you don't know how much having a church family can mean to you until things like this happen. Right now all we can do is pray for Robin and Bill and their two sons Trey and Chase. I know without asking that all of you that read this will do so. It seems a shame that the surgery went so well, and things were looking up for Robin and then we get this kind of news. Please remember us all, Thank You.
